“My son just finished his kindergarten year at MES and I can not say enough nice things about the school. The office staff was always helpful and his teacher (Mrs. Murawski) was outstanding! We just had to move out of state, I'm only hoping his first grade teacher is as great as Mrs. Murawski..she's a tough act to follow!”

“My son is currently a second grader at MES and I have been quite pleased with the learning environment he is in. I have found each of his teachers to be concerned and inclusive in the teaching process. Due to the fact that I am a volunteer in the school I have had the opportunity to see the behind the scene picture of the extra care the teachers put into preparing in an effort to make the lessons fun and stimulating. I have also witness the levels of education working cooperatively. It has been my pleasure to have my son at MES.”

“I would not recommend MES to anyone. I would describe some of the administrative staff as having aggressive demeanor. A few of the teachers have good teaching abilities and truly enjoy the children. The direction of any good business starts with a professional positive administrative staff. In my opinion this school is lacking in several areas.”

“MES is a fantastic educational institution with highly involved and experienced staff. The principal is hands on and always looking for ways to improve the performance of the students. Discipline at MES is 'in check'. Students know there are consequences to their behavior. I would like to see more spirited activities at MES like assemblies and talent shows. Fun activities should still be a big part of school for this age child. PTA was quiet last year, and hope to see its presence more this year with all the involved parents that have children in this school.”

“We have moved from other school districts across the country and I find this school to be very disappointing. Altough there are great teachers at some levels,the leadership of the school with the new principal is not strong. If you want to be in this school district, I recommend that you choose a different school (ie magnet or private) to send your child to. No school can record great success without great leadership and direction. Parent involvement is not appreciated by all. This school will slowly lose all of it's best students without a new direction.”

“Mr. Dolak, principal, is terrific. Ms. Upmeyer (K), Mrs. Taylor (3rd), Ms. Florence (1st), Mr. Cochran (5th) are all excellent teachers as is the entire Magruder Staff and Administration.
